Frequently Asked Questions

What do Den Leaders do?

Den Leaders hold bi-weekly meetings where the boys work on completing requirements for adventure belt loops, listed in the Cub Scout Den-Level Handbook.  Typically, parents stay to help and assist the Den Leaders, as needed.

What can parents do to help?

Parents can work with their Cub Scout to earn their Bobcat Rank.  In order to do this, a boy must demonstrate knowledge of basic Cub Scout information like the Oath, Law, Motto, etc.  Parents can also help boys additional adventure loops at home.

The entire family is encouraged to participate during Pack Meetings.  We also need help planning at the Adult Leader Meetings.

What should the Cub Scout do?

The Cub Scout can work with their parents to earn their Bobcat Rank; the requirements are in the Handbook.  Cubs Scouts should try to attend all Den and Pack Meetings.  He should wear his uniform to all Den and Pack Meetings.  Shirt should be buttoned and tucked in, and he should “Do his Best” at whatever is asked of him.
