Popcorn

Once again, Pack 1 is participating in the Trails-End Popcorn Fundraiser. In 2022, we came in at number 15 in our District, and in 2023, 2024, and 2025, we placed 4th in the Council! 

Scouts can sell via Online Direct, where each scout sets up a sales page online and collects orders from family and friends. You can register and set up your popcorn account by visiting https://www.trails-end.com/scouts. (We are Garden State Council, Osprey District, Pack 1001). 

We would also like scouts to take 2-3 shifts at storefronts or festivals. Most scouts who did this last year sold enough to cover the Pack expenses or earned free dues. 

Popcorn Blitz Weekends

The Council has designated 2 weekends as Blitz Weekends. Anyone who participates in the popcorn sale during these weekends (by taking a storefront shift or an online order) will be entered into prize drawings for gift cards. Each weekend one winner from each district will be chosen to win a $50 Amazon gift card and one grand prize winner will win a $100 Amazon gift card. We have set up storefront opportunities that you can sign up for in the Trails End App.

Scouts will earn points for their sales and there is a chart for gift cards from Trails End. We will also have prizes and incentives as a Pack for hitting our sales goals and top sellers. 

Sales Goals

• $350 in sales per scout covers our Pack expenses (awards, Pinewood Derby trophies and cars, t-shirts, etc.)

• $750 in sales per scout covers Pack expenses AND dues.

• $1000 in sales per scout will cover Pack expenses, dues, and earn the scout a free overnight adventure or $50 gift card to the Scout Shop (toward uniform or other scout gear). 

Overall, the Pack goal is $15,000 in popcorn sales (which we can hit if everyone sells $1000). 

What you get from Selling Popcorn

Aside from a ton of life skills that kids learn from putting themselves out there to sell popcorn and work toward a goal, they can earn their way to fun and adventure!

If they are in the top 3 sellers in the Pack, they will also earn some free camping gear prizes. (To be announced at our Popcorn kickoff).

Money raised supports both the Council (which runs our camps and other programs) and the Pack (70% goes to local scouting).
